Worst end of spring break ever!

So, as if yesterday’s bore-fest wasn’t enough to mark the end of break, this morning the evidence became undeniable that what had been assumed to be bug bites had spread exponentially and were indeed The Pox… So, I spent my morning at the doctors office having my fears confirmed. Indeed… I have chicken pox. So, while this does mean more time off from work, I have chicken pox so I highly doubt this will be the most enjoyable of absences from the old grind.

So, that brings the tally for work aquired illnesses to: strep throat, bronchitis, several colds and now chicken pox… ::sigh:: Filthy children! ;)

  1. Yipes, your immune system sounds shot.

  2. Happens to almost everybody working for a school. They say you’re pretty much sick for the first couple years straight and then you just stop getting sick. I’m just looking forward to that part.

  3. Look on the bright side, once your two years are up, you can live confidently knowing that you will be part of that group that wont die in case of a viral attack. Those terrorists dont know the power of our imbittered educational proffesionals!
